My Aviation Pictures

Here are some photos that I have taken, and have just scanned. This was the first time that I have used a scanner, so my pictures have turned out very large and a little blurred, but are good enough to show on my website. I will keep scanning, and with a little practice, this page should get better. For now, you might have to wait a while for each picture to come up - if you don't wait, your computer will probably go crazy and freeze...That happened to me the first time that I clicked on my pictures. I will keep taking pictures whenever I can, and will add them on here.

Canadian Airlines 767-300 (Registered C-FCAE) - This picture was taken in 1996 in Toronto during the Labor Day Weekend, and shows the Canadian Airlines 767-300 taxiing to Terminal 3 after arriving on 6R.

Canadian Regional Dash 8 - A very rare sight in Toronto! This picture was also taken in 1996, when Canadian Regional used Dash 8s in Toronto. Right now, Canadian Regional uses F28s, while the Dash 8s are in the West doing mainly Vancouver-Victoria, Vancouver-Calgary routes, and some other routes.

Korean Air 747-400 - This picture shows a Korean Air 747-400 getting ready for a flight back to Seoul. Korean Air used 777-200s on their Seoul-Toronto flights this past summer, but has gone back to using 747-400's for the winter season.

United Airlines 757-200 - A little too dark and blurred, but still a nice picture. This 757-200 is ready for its return trip to Chicago.

Canadian Airlines DC10 (Registered C-FCRE) - This DC10 has all of Canadian's employees' signatures on the aircraft. Unfortunately, Canadian will be taken over by Air Canada, and Air Canada will probably sell all of Canadian's DC10's. This picture was also taken during the 1996 Labor Day Weekend, and you can see one of the Snowbirds (Tail #8) in this photo.

Vista Jet 737-200 - This picture was taken in Windsor, Ontario, and shows a Vista Jet 737-200. Vista Jet was a low-fare airline which flew from Ottawa to Toronto and Windsor Ontario and operated 2 737-200s, and occasionally a Dash 8 leased from Air Creebec. This airline started service in the Spring of 1997, and folded in the fall of 1997. I went on this airline twice that summer, and it is really too bad that they went bankrupt. They are missed.

Korean Air 777-300 (Registered HL7533) - This Korean Air had just come off the assembly line a few days ago, and I got a great shot of this brand new 777-300 in Everett, Washington this past summer. I was fortunate to get some good pictures on this trip, and this was one of the best ones.

Korean Air 777-300 (Registered HL7533) - A nice view of this Triple 7's tail. You can catch the registration on the tail, and can even see "777-300" written on the body. This aircraft is mostly flying on Korean Air's Seoul-Sydney route.

Air Transat 757-200 (Registered C-GTSN) - This Air Transat is leaving Toronto for either Europe or the sunny south. This picture was taken as the sun was setting on a very nice fall afternoon. The sun reflects a nice orange glow on one of the nicest paint schemes in Canada. Personally, I think Air Transat's new colors are much nicer than their old colors.

Air Canada 747-400 (Registered C-GAGN) - Air Canada Flight 857 arriving in Toronto after a flight from London on runway 24R. This picture is a little too dark, but the picture is still good enough to show.

Air France Airbus 340-300 (Registered F-GLZB) - Air France Flight 358 arrives from Paris on 24R. This picture is one of my favorite shots, and shows an Air Canada Airbus 320 in the background waiting for its takeoff clearance.

Alitalia 747-200 (Registered I-DEMS) - Alitalia's Bulgari color scheme arrives in Toronto! This is a nice picture of the smoke lifting in the air after the wheels of the heavy 747 touch the ground.

KLM 747-300 (Registered PH-BUT) - A KLM 747-300 comes over the lights, and over the Petro Canada Gas Station on approach to 24R in Toronto.

American Airlines MD80 - An American MD80 is shown after arriving from Chicago, heading to its gate in Terminal 3. The tail is too dark, and the wheels are cut off in this photo, which was taken on a cloudy September morning in 1996. The nice thing about this photo is it shows the wing just making it above the very small wall.

Royal Airlines 727-200 (Registered C-FRYS) - This is the Royal that I went on, going and coming back from Aruba. This picture was taken in March, as the sun began to go down in Aruba. This 727 was equipped with winglets, and was one of the first to join Royal's fleet. Unfortunately, the tail is too dark in this picture, and the winglets could not be seen either. Royal has since sold this aircraft and, as all other 727's have been replaced by 757's, as Royal's fleet becomes more modern.

United Airlines 727 (Registered N7001U) - This was the first 727 ever delivered. This picture was taken at the Aircraft Restoration Center in Everett, Washington, and was accepted by Airliners.net. United became the first company to receive 727's, and continue to use 727-200s. This photo was accepted by Airliners.net!

Vasp MD11 (Registered PP-SFD) - The nose of Vasp's PP-SFD. This is a nice closeup of the 500 years sticker on the MD11 as it prepares for a flight from Toronto to New York and Sao Paulo. This photo was accepted on Airliners.net!

Vasp MD11 (Registered PP-SFD) - A closeup of Foxtrot-Delta's "Nossa Senhora Aparecida" on an overcast winter afternoon before heading to New York and Sao Paulo. This photo was also accepted on Airliners.net!

Air Canada 767-200 (Registered C-GAUE) - This Air Canada 767-200 is leaving the International section of Terminal 2 in Toronto. Although this photo is really nice, it is slightly blurred, and the sky is overcast.

Bombardier's Global Express Business Jet (Registered C-GFJR) - This is one of Bombardier's newest aircraft. I took this picture as it was parked outside the Skycharter Hangar in Toronto. This photo was accepted on Airliners.net!

Bombardier's Global Express Business Jet (Registered C-GFJR) - Another view of Bombarier's BizJet parked outside the Skycharter Hangar in Toronto. This photo was also accepted on Airliners.net!

Northwest DC9 (Registered N9344) - With my new camera, I can finally get some really good closeups. This Northwest has just arrived from Detroit, and the ground workers are beginning to unload the aircraft.

Comair Canadair Regional Jet (Registered N999CA) - An appropriate way to end the century! A real coincidence that N999CA came to Toronto on the last day of 1999. Comair is a connector with Delta, and has arrived from Cincinnati.

Air Transat 757-200 (Registered C-GTSJ) - This Air Transat was parked at Terminal 1 for nearly the whole day, as most flights were cancelled out of Pearson International in Toronto, just in case Y2K would strike.

Air Transat 737-400 (Registered C-GBIX) - This 737 is on lease with Air Transat for the winter, and mostly flies to Florida, and other sunny destinations. This aircraft belongs to Virgin Atlantic Express, and you can notice the paint job didn't turn out so good - look closely where Air Transat is written, and you will notice a different shade of red.

Royal Airlines 737-200 (Registered C-FNAP) - Just finished the pushback from Terminal 1 in Toronto, and getting ready to depart for Winnipeg.

Canadian Airlines DC10 (Registered C-GBQQ) - This DC10 is landing on Runway 23 (Formerly known as Runway 24R) in Toronto. It is arriving as Canadian Flight 984 from Vancouver.

Air Ontario Dash 8-100 (Registered C-FGQI) - Air Ontario's "City of Toronto" leaves Pearson International on Runway 23. Nice shot of the windsock, as well!

Canadian Airlines 737-200 (Registered C-GRPW) - Holding in position ready for takeoff on Runway 23. If you look real close to the front, you can see a helicopter in the distance.

Air Canada Airbus 319 (Registered C-FZUG) - Air Canada beginning the takeoff roll on Runway 23.

Skyservice Airbus 320 (Registered C-FTDI) - Skyservice in the Monarch color scheme taxiing on to taxiway Q, holding short of Runway 23.
